Prayer Needs in our Church |
|
Prayers of thanksgiving for ... the Primetimers who came to learn about Macedonia. They were enthusiastic and inquiring. We had a wonderful time with them. We are grateful for the things that they brought and left behind: a guitar for our youth, Bibles and Children's Bibles, many craft supplies, vitamins, winter coats and other clothing for the needy, financial donations for our Meals on Wheels program and our camp for children with special needs. ... Loletuth Flener, summer intern from Duke University Seminary and all the help she is giving us: assisting with Meals on Wheels and other humanitarian outreach, children’s classes, Vacation Bible School, preaching, visiting, directing volunteers. ... the four theology students from Cliff College in England who came for a week, helping out at the Miss Stone Center (Meals on Wheels) and leading programs for children. Prayers of concern for ... our Meals on Wheels recipients who are lonely, sick, elderly, handicapped and/or living in extreme poverty. ... an adequate staff and budget for the Miss Stone Center, so that this important ministry of Meals on Wheels can continue. ... our Vacation Bible School scheduled for July 10 - 13, that it will be a time of joy, learning and spiritual growth for the children and volunteers. ... our camp for children with special needs, July 14 - 21, that it will be a happy and enriching experience for the children, teachers and the youth from our church who lead the Bible lessons and music program. ... the Volunteers in Mission coming later this summer and fall, for their safe travels and fruitful experiences. ... recent graduates and the many others who are seeking employment. ... spiritual renewal and enthusiasm for the Gospel in our congregations.
